  The landlord is a miserable, rude man. The food is nice but extremely overpriced. If you use the condiments be careful, it's the cheapest of cheap products, it could ruin your meal. The drinks are also overpriced. I feel sorry for staff who work here, I've overheard the landlord putting them down and being extremely rude in front of paying customers. Won't be back.

  This is under new management. The food selection was very basic and choice limited. Chips with everything, that had been cooked in a bad tasting fat and we're inedible. The locals we know avoid it....sadly we didn't check with them first!

  Dropped in for a drink and a bar snack.
  Made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar.
  A very good village pub, Had a good pint of real ale, my Wife enjoyed a hot chocolate.
  Having seen the menu we decided to give up,the bar snack and go for the fish and chips and the homemade bread pudding, so,pleased we did, it was excellent.
